About HerbClinic
HerbClinic in the Press

Hello Everyone!
My name is Nikolett Diána Szarvas. I graduated as a biomedical engineer with a focus on health protection from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics in early 2010. Afterward, I worked as a research engineer at the Institute of Medical Chemistry and Biochemistry at Semmelweis University and later as a biotechnology patent expert at a subsidiary of the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office.
The story of HerbClinic began when my husband and I decided we wanted to have a baby. It wasn’t easy for us, and we waited years for our daughter to be conceived. We went from doctor to doctor, underwent numerous examinations, but it still didn’t happen. After trying everything, I turned to medicinal herbs alongside medical help. I put together a special herbal tea blend series that supports the optimal functioning of the hormonal system in each of the four phases of the cycle, and I drank it for months.
Finally, on December 6, 2015, St. Nicholas brought us a gift in the form of a positive pregnancy test. From that moment, I was determined to raise my daughter in the healthiest, most natural way possible, to work with medicinal herbs, and to help others with them.
HerbClinic was born from this mission in 2019 as a blog, which has since grown into a comprehensive system: a health-preserving system based on the application of medicinal herbs that supports us from conception to the end of our lives.
In 2018, I graduated from the Hieronymus Bock Traditional Herbal Studies School. In 2019, I completed my phytotherapist certification and finished my Bach flower therapy studies by the end of that year.
As a mother of a young child, I met many mothers, expectant mothers, and grandmothers who, trusting me, sought advice on restoring and maintaining their own and their children’s health. I realized then how important it is for people to be able to apply the resources of nature, especially women, mothers-to-be, and mothers, since they play a large part in shaping future generations.
My first book, Mothers’ Handbook – Medical Herbalist in the Family, was published in August 2020 as part of a series. In November 2021, I released my second book, The Women’s Handbook – Cycles, followed by The Fertility Handbook in November 2022, and The Herbs of the Home Apothecary in November 2023, all published by Scolar Publishing. Inspired by the first two books, I self-published the Herbal Self-Help Cards – A Companion For Everyday Life in August 2022, which serves as a guide to medicinal herbs, encouraging positive thinking and emotional support.
It’s very important to me that children learn early on how to heal themselves and maintain good health. This idea inspired the Herbal Apothecary Card Game, self-published in April 2022.
In September 2022, I launched my HerbClinic Premium Tea Blend family, which includes teas for daily complaints, along with special women’s cycle and children’s blends. These are made from unique recipes, with a focus on the absorption and effectiveness of the active ingredients. The children’s blends are safe from age two, and most adult teas are suitable for expectant and nursing mothers.
All my books, courses, and publications are created with a biomedical engineering perspective, focusing on active ingredients and mechanisms of action, yet with a compassionate, human touch.
Alongside herbs, my other passion is yoga. I began practicing Hatha yoga in 2005, during my university years. After years of practice, I felt its impact on my body firsthand and wanted to share this knowledge so others could benefit as well.
In fall 2020, I became a certified women’s yoga instructor at Body ‘n’ Soul Wellness Academy. I then developed a yoga-herbal system called Herba-Yoni Yoga to support women wishing to conceive. Wanting to share Hatha yoga with my daughter, I continued my training and, in February 2022, became a certified children’s yoga instructor, thanks to Yoga Adventure.
In February 2024, I successfully appeared on Shark Tank Hungary, Season 7, Episode 7, aired on RTL Hungary.
I continuously expand my knowledge to provide the best possible service to help maintain your health.
Nature gives us everything; we just need to know what to accept from Her.
